A failed card is a cancelled member nobody noticed
Retries happen automatically and failures are flagged, so you find out while you can still do something about it.
A gym lives or dies on how many memberships renew. QuixChex charges them on time, retries the cards that fail, and tells you who's about to churn — before the month closes, not after.
How a session runs
Someone joins, picks a plan, and their card goes on file. It charges on the same day every month without anyone touching it. If it fails, QuixChex retries and flags it. If they add a family member, that goes on the same schedule.
Card on file at the desk. The plan starts on their terms, monthly or annual, with no form to file afterwards.
Nobody touches it. Add a family member and they go on the same schedule at the same renewal.
QuixChex retries and flags it, so a dead card is a conversation instead of a member who quietly stopped paying.
They keep turning up. Membership holds. Paid.

A recurring membership, a prepaid year and a ten-session pack sit on the same member without you tracking them in three places.
Lockers, family members, nutrition coaching and recovery add on to the membership instead of being billed separately or forgotten.

FAQ
Yes. Monthly is a recurring schedule; annual is a single charge on a yearly cycle. Same member, whichever they picked.
Yes. Pause the schedule and start it again later — the member, their card and their price all stay where they were.
Sell a ten-pack as a one-off charge and draw sessions down against it, with the balance visible on their record.
No. A session goes in at the desk or over the phone, and there’s no page on the internet where a member picks a slot — your diary isn’t published anywhere. A member can be given a login, and it lists the sessions on their record including the ones still ahead, but it reads the book rather than writes to it.
Only against a booked session. Open the session, tap check in, and it sits as in progress until somebody logs it. There's no scanner, no turnstile and no count of people who walked in and used the floor without booking anything.
Not by itself. Cancelling a session or marking it a no-show collects nothing, and nothing goes to a card afterwards. Charge for it and the fee is rung up at the front desk like any other line — the session still reads as missed, and it counts on the seven-day no-show figure whether you charged for it or not.
