Maintenance plans quietly lapse
Annual plans renew automatically on the anniversary. Nobody has to remember who signed up last March.
The maintenance plan is your best revenue and the easiest to let slide. QuixChex renews it, dispatches the tech, prices the replacement off what they found, and takes the payment — all on one customer record.
Why HVAC is different
Annual plans renew automatically on the anniversary. Nobody has to remember who signed up last March.
The tech's notes and photos come back from the house, you price the replacement off them, and the quote goes out the same afternoon.
After-hours work is its own line item at its own price, so overtime doesn't get billed as a normal call.

How a job runs
A tech gets the call on their phone with the address, clocks in, diagnoses the unit and sends photos back. The office prices the replacement from the same job record, sends the quote, and when it's approved it becomes a scheduled install with a deposit charge attached.
QuixChex reads card activity straight off Winston POS, settles through iStream and Global Payments, and is backed by Port City Processing LLC. Whatever you already run on the counter and in the back office keeps running — QuixChex fits around it.
FAQ
Yes. The plan is a price and a cadence — charge it once a year, or split it monthly on ACH so it's easier for the homeowner to say yes to.
