Membership medicine needs reliable monthly billing
A monthly care membership renews on its own and retries a failed card, so the panel doesn't quietly shrink.
Direct primary care, dental, aesthetics, cash-pay specialties — practices where the patient pays you, not an insurer. QuixChex charges the visit, runs the membership, and keeps the balance somewhere the patient can see it.
How an appointment runs
Patient books in, is seen, and the visit bills to the card on file. Their monthly membership charges separately on its own cycle. Everything they've paid is on one record they can pull up themselves.
The visit bills to the card on file when they leave, so the front desk is not a checkout queue.
Monthly medicine bills monthly, separately from the visit, without either one being missed.
One record they can pull up themselves — what was charged, what is paid, what is left on a plan.
Patient seen. No surprise bill. Paid.
A monthly care membership renews on its own and retries a failed card, so the panel doesn't quietly shrink.
Send them a link and they can see their visits, their balance and their receipts without calling the front desk.
A crown or a course of treatment can be split into a deposit and a balance rather than one number that stalls the plan.

FAQ
No — and that's worth being plain about. QuixChex is for the money patients pay you directly: self-pay visits, memberships, treatment plans and aesthetics. It isn't a claims clearinghouse and doesn't submit to payers.
Yes. That's one of the things it does best — a recurring monthly charge per patient, renewing on its own with retries when a card fails.
Yes. You send a link, they're in — no password to set up. They can see visits, payments and receipts.
No. A patient record carries a name, contact details and their visits — there’s no date of birth on it and no clinical field of any kind. Notes can go on the record and each one keeps who wrote it and when. A visit has no photo slot at all on this profile, deliberately, because a photograph of a patient is protected health information — so whatever you chart in today, you keep charting in.
Yes. A team login is a tick-list — bookings, payments, refunds, reports, the price list — and unticking refunds takes the button away and turns the request down at the server too. Handing out logins isn't on that list at all, so a login you create can't go on to create more.
No. Each patient is their own record, and there's nothing underneath a record to hold a second person, so a family of four is four records. Whose card pays is a separate question — any card can be taken at the desk against any visit.
